Job Summary
This role is for an experienced IT Team Lead to manage and expand the IT infrastructure for the TUM Campus Heilbronn. Day-to-day, you will lead a 5-person IT team, oversee the installation, configuration, and administration of IT, EDP, and network projects, ensuring the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure. A key part of the role involves supporting software rollouts, updates, and IT support, as well as planning and dimensioning computer systems and networks in collaboration with external partners. You will also be crucial in maintaining lecture operations, managing media technology, and developing new digital teaching solutions. Required Skills
Education
Degree or studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
Experience
- 5 years relevant professional experience in IT
- Experience in server and storage management
- Experience in network management (Microsoft and Linux)
- Ideally, certification in server or storage
- Experience with common information security standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001)
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., EU-AI Act, ISO 42001)
- Ideally, experience in leading IT teams
