Join the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) in Braunschweig as a Biological Technical Assistant, focusing on combating pathogens. In this role, you will conduct microbiological examinations of bacteria and fungi, establish specialized synthetic media, and prepare samples for metagenomic analyses, including NGS library creation. A key part of your work will involve analyzing resistance and cross-resistance development in fungi and bacteria. You'll also contribute to the development and implementation of new molecular biological and microbiological methods and assist with data evaluation strategies using tools like Excel and PRISM.
