Job Summary

Join the Criminal Technical Institute of the State Criminal Police Office in Eberswalde as a Fingerprint Expert or Forensic Specialist. This role involves comprehensive forensic analysis of evidence in criminal cases, primarily focusing on dactyloscopy. You will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and identifying fingerprint traces, preparing expert opinions for courts, and providing consultations to legal and police authorities. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor) in Natural Sciences (preferably chemistry-oriented) or Forensics, or a comparable technical-scientific field; OR successfully completed training as a Dactyloscopy Expert according to the "Aus- und Fortbildungsordnung für Sachverständige (AFOS)".

Experience

  • Professional experience in forensic analysis or dactyloscopy is highly beneficial
  • Readiness to undergo expert training if not already qualified
  • Readiness for operational deployments at crime scenes
