Job Summary

This role involves supporting police investigations by managing DNA patterns within a central database and evaluating identified matches. Key responsibilities include the technical and legal review of DNA data for inclusion in the federal and state DNA analysis files, processing matches (person-person, person-trace, trace-trace) and providing feedback to investigative units. The officer will also assess data quality, exchange information with investigative agencies, generate statistics for federal evaluation, and monitor data for compliance with data protection regulations.
