Job Summary

The Senior System Engineer will play a crucial role in the engineering and co-development of tactical communication solutions, specifically within the Tactical Communications (TaCom) domain. Key responsibilities include contributing to system architecture and concept documentation, conducting feasibility studies, and building/operating demo setups. You will collaborate closely with hardware and software development teams to advance product lines and manage requirements engineering (analysis, specification, change management) at both system and component levels. Furthermore, the role involves planning, executing, and documenting system integrations, particularly integrating heterogeneous communication and network systems. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent networking and security knowledge, deep Linux expertise, and the ability to provide technical support to business development and sales units. Required Skills

Education

University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a comparable technical field

Experience

  • Professional experience in System Engineering and Architecture, ideally within a security-relevant environment
  • Experience in Requirements Engineering and technical documentation
  • Experience dealing with customers in the federal or defense/armaments sector (advantageous)
