Job Summary

This pivotal role involves ensuring that assigned technical projects and products, particularly in the Air sector, consistently meet all relevant quality and compliance standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the central point of contact for all Quality Management (QM) issues, both internally and externally with clients and regulatory authorities. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Quality Management Plans, conducting risk analyses during the bidding and project phases, and managing the release of quality assurance documentation. Furthermore, you will coordinate and accompany quality inspections and audits, actively supporting project management to ensure adherence to processes, norms, and regulatory requirements. This position requires a structured approach, deep technical understanding (ideally in mechanics, electronics, or software), and proven experience in quality management within complex technical development environments. Your expertise will be crucial in developing reliable, compliant, and safe solutions.

Required Skills

Education

Technical education at HF/FH level (Higher Technical School or University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent, ideally in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical Engineering, or Software Development. Proven advanced training in Quality Management is required.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Quality Management
  • Experience in technically demanding or complex development projects
  • Professional experience in clarifying and evaluating quality-relevant customer requirements
  • Experience in coordinating and conducting quality acceptance, inspections, and audits

Languages

German (Fluent)English (Intermediate)

Additional

  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland for supplier and site visits. Requires a self-reliant, structured, and customer-oriented working approach.
