Job Summary
This role involves overseeing and managing the technical operations of university buildings using building management systems and fault reporting systems. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for all building and supply technology functions, responsible for assessing and addressing fault messages and alarms, creating maintenance orders, and coordinating external companies. Key requirements include a background in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, ideally with professional experience in a similar role and strong technical expertise in building services. This position offers an opportunity to work in a critical operational role within a leading German university, ensuring the efficient and sustainable operation of its facilities, and requires participation in a rotating shift schedule.
Required Skills
Education
State-certified Master or Technician in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable position (desirable)
- Technical expertise in various components and functions of Technical Building Equipment (TGA)
- Understanding of system integration in building structures
