Job Summary

This role involves conducting field surveys and detailed analyses of bat populations, primarily focusing on their presence in both terrestrial and offshore environments, especially around wind energy facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying common bat species using detector sounds, performing call analysis and data evaluation with specialized software, and applying standard guidelines for bat surveys. Key responsibilities include preparing expert reports on bat species and contributing to species protection assessments. This position is ideal for an individual with in-depth knowledge of bat ecology, a willingness to travel extensively within Germany for fieldwork, and a strong team player attitude.
