Job Summary

This role involves providing comprehensive ecological construction supervision both onshore and offshore, ensuring compliance with environmental and species protection regulations during construction projects. Key day-to-day tasks include conducting site inspections, managing photo documentation, participating in construction meetings, and drafting detailed reports and expert opinions. The specialist will be responsible for communicating directly with clients and regulatory authorities, handling technical and legal questions related to species protection, and assisting in the acquisition of necessary permits. To succeed, candidates must hold a university degree in Biology or a comparable field, possess professional experience in environmental construction supervision or planning, and demonstrate strong knowledge of specific species groups (such as Flora of Northern Germany, Birds, or Bats). The position offers a permanent contract, flexible working arrangements, 30 days of annual leave plus emergency days, and the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects within a leading, values-oriented engineering and consulting group.
