Job Summary
As a Network Element Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of North Rhine-Westphalia by contributing to the Digital Radio Network for Public Safety Organizations (BOS). Your daily responsibilities will involve planning, conceptualizing, and rolling out hardware within the BOS digital radio network, including conducting thorough requirements analyses. You will also be responsible for the administration and system management of a Cisco environment (OSI Layer 2 and 3), as well as maintaining crypto components, firewalls, and RADIUS access control systems. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Communication Technology, or a comparable technical field; OR state-certified technician in IT/communications technology; OR vocational training in IT/communications technology with relevant work experience; OR university degree in any field with relevant additional qualifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate).
