This role is for an IT Administrator specializing in virtualization and automation, joining an 8-person IT Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating virtual machines (VMs) using enterprise virtualization solutions, creating comprehensive documentation for the VM infrastructure, and standardizing setups through blueprints and templates. A key aspect of the role involves automating routine tasks like deployment, monitoring, backup, and patch management using scripting and automation tools. The administrator will also ensure the stability, performance, and security of virtualized systems, provide expert advice on infrastructure projects, and continuously optimize the existing environment.
