Job Summary

This role seeks an Inhouse Consultant to join the Solutions & Delivery team, focusing on driving innovative products and services for the future of Duisburg as a Smart City. The consultant will collaborate closely with various business and staff departments on initiatives aimed at increasing Customer Experience, Process Excellence, Climate Protection, and Sustainability. Key responsibilities involve challenging the status quo, developing comprehensive solution scenarios, feasibility studies, concepts, and detailed business cases. The consultant prepares decision templates and implements innovative ideas through pilot projects (MVPs), operating both strategically and operationally across digitalization and strategy projects. The position requires a university degree in a relevant technical or business field, practical experience in innovation management and product development, a strong understanding of IT, and familiarity with new technologies like Artificial Intelligence. Success in this role demands initiative, creativity, strong communication, and analytical skills.
