This role offers a unique opportunity for a highly motivated Research Associate or PhD student to delve into cutting-edge research at the TUD Dresden University of Technology, a leading institution in optoelectronics and novel semiconductors. The successful candidate will join the Chair of Ultrafast Microscopy and Photonics, focusing on the propagation dynamics of exciton-electron complexes and quantum gases in advanced heterostructures. Day-to-day activities will involve conducting spectroscopic investigations of two-dimensional semiconductors, performing measurements and analysis using linear and non-linear microscopy, and collaborating with international research partners. This position is ideal for someone with strong experimental skills in optics and material preparation, a solid understanding of low-dimensional van der Waals materials, and a desire to contribute to basic and application-related research in a vibrant, international team.
