Job Summary
Join as a DevOps Engineer for AIRBUS Defence and Space, focusing on the operation, maintenance, security, and further development of software delivery and IT infrastructure. You will be instrumental in specifying, configuring, and implementing IT infrastructure for internal development systems and end-user systems across Central Europe. This role involves supporting rigorous configuration management processes, ensuring compliance with IT security guidelines like BSI IT-Grundschutz, and continuously updating development systems in line with mission planning system advancements. You'll also define processes for reliable deployment of new baseline versions and contribute to enhancing the maintainability and operability of IT systems and their toolchain within a dedicated development team. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the secure and reliable operation of IT systems
- Several years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code in a Windows environment (e.g., PowerShell, Active Directory, VMware, Baramundi, Ansible)
- Good experience collaborating with software development teams and integrating into their development and configuration processes
