Job Summary

This role involves the intricate task of porting PROMICON PLC programs to Siemens controllers, a critical component of modernizing and rebuilding third-party machinery over a 1-2 year period. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining programs using the pCOM Motion language, leveraging the pPRO project configuration tool from the PIDS software package. Day-to-day activities include defining and managing variables, constants, and objects, as well as implementing mathematical functions and logical operators with C syntax for intuitive programming.
