Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated HR Specialist to join the Human Resources and Organization Department within the Ministry for Energy Transition, Climate Protection, Environment, and Nature (MEKUN) in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive personnel management, including recruitment and all HR-related legal matters, specifically for two of the Ministry's departments and the State Agency for Coastal Protection, National Park, and Marine Protection (LKN.SH) for higher-level positions. A small portion of the role also involves assisting with the department's budget (excluding personnel budget) and data entry in SAP. This position offers a chance to work in a supportive, collaborative team environment, contributing to public service with a focus on employee and departmental support.

Required Skills

Education

Career qualification for career group 2, first entry-level in General Services (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt/in or Bachelor of Arts General Administration/Public Administration) OR (Fach-)Hochschul degree (FH-Diplom or Bachelor) in a relevant field OR completed Qualification Course II / Employee Course II.

Experience

  • Professional experience in personnel administration or tasks involving HR legal matters (desirable)
  • At least two years of professional experience in the public service at the functional level of career group 2, 1st entry-level (formerly higher service)
