This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead the Human Resources department for the city of Geislingen an der Steige, a municipality with approximately 600 employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of seven, overseeing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, occupational health and safety, and vocational training. This role requires strong leadership, legal expertise in public sector HR, and a strategic approach to personnel management. Required Skills
Education
University degree or Bachelor's in Public Management, Administration & International Relations, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with a focus on Business Administration (HR) or a comparable field, or equivalent qualification combined with relevant experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in human resources
- Ideally, experience in a municipal/public administration setting
- Leadership experience (leading a team of seven employees)
