Job Summary

As the Manager, Cargo Handling, you will lead and optimize cargo handling processes across various stations within a defined geographical area, ensuring full compliance with industry directives. A key part of your role involves orchestrating the establishment and launch of new stations, aligning with company standards, and driving continuous process improvements for both export and import cargo services. You will be instrumental in managing critical relationships with external entities like airports and customs authorities, while also fostering the growth and performance of your team, including agency staff. This position demands a strategic approach to resource utilization, ensuring service standards are consistently met under pressure, and offers the opportunity to contribute to global handling strategies within the logistics or airline industry.

Required Skills

Education

High school diploma/GED, College degree/vocational training

Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the logistics or airline industry
  • Professional knowledge of LH Cargo’s processes and organization or comparable international airline/logistics industry structures
  • Advanced professional operations know-how and skills in an airline or logistics environment
