Postdoctoral Core Facility Manager, Next Generation Sequencing | Biologist (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for a highly qualified Postdoctoral Core Facility Manager to lead the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Core Facility at the Leibniz Institute on Aging (FLI) in Jena. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and strategically developing the facility, including leading a team, designing and conducting research projects, and securing third-party funding. Day-to-day tasks involve supporting scientists with sequencing project design, overseeing project implementation from sample QC to raw data QC, and contributing technical sequencing details to bioinformaticians.
