Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated Materials Tester / Laboratory Technician to join a dynamic team working with Airbus Helicopters. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating testing requirements with internal clients, preparing samples, and conducting a variety of material analyses including microscopy, thermal analysis, rheometry, and IR spectroscopy. A key part of the role involves preparing, executing, and documenting corrosion tests, ensuring all work adheres to ISO17025 standards. The position requires a strong background in materials science, destructive material testing, and experience with laboratory equipment. It offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects with a leading aerospace company, contributing to error analysis on damaged components and developing new testing procedures.
