Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and high availability of the development infrastructure for a major client, Airbus Defence and Space, with a focus on Microsoft Windows environments. Day-to-day tasks include managing servers, storage, clients, and networks, alongside crucial user management activities. A key responsibility is the automation of configuration settings, deployments, and updates for both servers and clients, while strictly adhering to BSI IT security guidelines. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a related field and possesses professional experience in network configuration, support, and IT infrastructure components like Windows, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, and CI/CD. Experience with virtualization (VMware) and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is highly desirable.
