Job Summary

This role is for a motivated AIT Technician specializing in Harness (Space Electronics) to join projects with Airbus Defence and Space. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) tasks related to harness systems in spacecraft, including working through detailed documentation, integration plans, and test reports. Key daily tasks involve independently conducting test plans using existing measuring equipment, performing Test-Harness integration and check-out in satellite modules and structures according to customer requirements, and cooperating with international Airbus sites and subcontractors. The position requires professional experience in harness manufacturing, processing tools, and quality control, along with technical understanding of satellite mechanisms and systems. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory, alongside specific ESA certifications for crimping and soldering, making this a highly specialized and attractive role within the aerospace industry.
