Job Summary

This role involves leading a team of approximately 45 professionals responsible for the complete operational management and maintenance of the SkyTrain system at Düsseldorf Airport. The SkyTrain is a fully automated local transport system connecting the airport terminal with the IC train station. The successful candidate will be accountable for the electrical maintenance of the SkyTrain project, including disciplinary and technical leadership of their department, as well as planning, managing, and controlling their maintenance area. Key responsibilities include ensuring the technical operational safety of passenger vehicles and infrastructure, overseeing work preparation for maintenance orders, conducting regular quality checks, and supporting internal and external audits.
