Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious Biologist specializing in pharmaceutical pre-development, focusing on advancing technologies within the pharma and life science sectors. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the downstream process development of recombinant cells and proteins, handling samples, and contributing to experimental study designs, particularly for Design of Experiments (DoEs). Day-to-day tasks involve planning, executing, and evaluating experiments in adherence to Quality by Design principles, as well as setting up and maintaining analytical and laboratory equipment for chromatography, filtration, and flow cytometry. This position offers a dynamic environment for professional growth, allowing the individual to apply their expertise in a challenging setting with opportunities for continuous development and active participation in innovative projects.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in (Molecular) Biology, Chemistry, or another natural science field
Experience
- Professional experience in downstream processes
- Experience with various analytical methods or preparative work
- Experience in handling samples
- Experience with software for statistical analyses and laboratory-specific software
