Job Summary
The Landesuntersuchungsanstalt Sachsen is seeking a Research Associate to join their Environmental Medicine and Communal Hygiene department in Chemnitz. This role involves conducting on-site inspections of ventilation and air conditioning systems (RLT-Anlagen) according to VDI 6022 standards and performing environmental hygiene sampling for parameters like mold and fine dust. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed reports, statements, and protocols based on these inspections and samples. A key aspect of the role is providing expert advice and support to authorities in Saxony on ventilation management, participating in planning assessments for new RLT systems in public buildings, and contributing to training events for public health authorities. This position requires a scientific or engineering degree, a Class B driver's license, and strong teamwork and communication skills, offering a varied and responsible role within public service.

- Class B driver's license required. Willingness to conduct independent on-site appointments within the Free State of Saxony. This is a temporary part-time position (35 hours/week) to cover maternity and parental leave.
