Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Technical Assistant to join a rapidly growing team in translational infectiological research. The successful candidate will be instrumental in daily laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, and the meticulous management of biological samples. A key part of the role involves performing advanced immunological techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and phagocytosis assays, as well as molecular biology techniques like cloning and PCR. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research focused on understanding immune responses in immunocompromised patients and developing new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for invasive fungal infections and respiratory viruses, all within a supportive and interdisciplinary team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific-technical training as a BTA (Biological Technical Assistant), MTA (Medical Technical Assistant), MTLA (Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant), or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience with immunological techniques

- This is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, funded by a third-party project. Compensation is based on TV-L (Collective Agreement for Public Service of the Federal States).
