This role offers a working student the opportunity to contribute to the Market Risk team in Düsseldorf, focusing on the power portfolio. The successful candidate will primarily be involved in conducting data analyses to support risk management processes and assessments. Key responsibilities include validating and backtesting risk econometric analyses, reporting findings to risk managers, and developing ad-hoc automation and reports using tools like Python, R, PowerBI, or Microsoft Automate. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in business, finance, mathematics, or statistics. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science/Engineering in Germany.
Experience
- Professional experience in data analysis for risk management processes
- Professional experience in validating and backtesting risk econometric analyses
- Experience in developing ad-hoc automation, code, and reports for data analysis and quantitative tools
- Collaboration in international teams
