Job Summary

This Polymer Engineer role involves the end-to-end development and scaling of polycondensation processes for novel polyester-based plastics, aiming for world-scale production over 100 kt/a. The successful candidate will build and refine processes from monomer dosing to final polymer pellet production, identify and resolve technical challenges through lab-scale experiments, and conduct techno-economic assessments and process simulations. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced chemists and engineers, train technicians, and contribute to pioneering next-generation plastics for a circular economy within a fast-paced startup environment. A strong background in polycondensation process development, polymer science, and process safety is crucial for this impactful role.
