Job Summary

Join the Fraunhofer IOSB as a Postdoctoral Researcher to advance quantum-inspired imaging, focusing on techniques like Spatial-Mode-Demultiplexing (SpaDe) to achieve sub-diffraction limit resolutions through complex optical media. You will conduct theoretical and/or experimental research to precisely determine object positions, even when observed through challenging environments like the atmosphere or biological tissues. This role involves active participation in international collaborations with leading quantum science experts and continuous professional development in the field. You'll also mentor student assistants and supervise theses, contributing to the growth of the QmagiC research group. This is an exciting opportunity for a PhD holder in Physics or Optics with expertise in quantum optics, offering significant scientific freedom and a supportive, interdisciplinary environment.
