Job Summary

In this role, you will drive the state of the art in adaptive optics and laser communication, working on conceptual and experimental challenges in a dynamic research environment. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma/Master) in Natural Sciences or Engineering (Physics or Engineering) or comparable fields
Experience
- Practical experience in the design, alignment, and evaluation of optical systems
- Professional experience in one or more of the following areas: light propagation in atmospheric turbulence, adaptive optics, laser communication, high-energy laser physics, optical (laser) measurement technology, or digital communications engineering

- Initial contract duration of 3 years with potential for extension; Opportunity for doctoral studies if qualified; Willingness to work on projects benefiting the German Federal Armed Forces.
