Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Pharmacological Institute at Philipps-Universität Marburg. The successful candidate will delve into the molecular and biomechanical programs of renal epithelial cell plasticity, crucial for kidney regeneration after damage. A key focus will be developing innovative Organoid-on-a-Chip models for kidney injuries, utilizing techniques like murine and human kidney organoids, tissue engineering, biomechanics, single-cell analysis, live-cell videomicroscopy, and animal experiments. The position also involves contributing to scientific publications, grant applications, presentations, and teaching in the Human Biology Master's program. This is an excellent opportunity for a life sciences professional to advance their scientific qualifications within a dynamic, international research environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Master, Diploma or equivalent) and PhD in a Life Sciences field

Experience

  • Professional experience in Tissue Engineering
  • Professional experience in Biomechanics
  • Experience in cell biological techniques, including organoids
  • Experience in molecular biological, microscopic, and animal experimental work (advantageous)
