Job Summary
This role is for a skilled PLC Programmer in automation technology, focusing on Smart Manufacturing and Industry 5.0 solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and evolving software architectures for automation systems, developing software with modern tools, and conducting simulations for program validation. Key tasks include integrating cloud solutions for data analysis, implementing safety standards in control programs, and developing scalable user interfaces. The role also involves commissioning software solutions directly on-site at machines and systems. This position offers an opportunity to work on innovative and efficient solutions within a competence center for automation, contributing to the future of intelligent manufacturing.
Required Skills
Education
Degree or Technician qualification in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming, ideally with Siemens S7, TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT 3, or similar systems
- Knowledge and affinity for developing high-level language concepts (e.g., C++, C#)
- Understanding of safety functions (Safety)
