Job Summary

The Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office (CVUA) Karlsruhe is seeking a Certified Food Chemist to join their Contaminants and Species Differentiation (KON) section within Department 3. This role involves leading molecular biological analysis of food using PCR and NGS for allergen and species detection, as well as overseeing HPLC analysis of food for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in food chemistry with a state examination, strong expertise in molecular biological and HPLC analytical methods, and a solid understanding of analytical quality assurance (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025) and food law.
