Job Summary
Join a leading energy sector client in Dortmund as a Project Manager for Cable Systems, playing a pivotal role in the energy transition. This full-time, permanent position involves leading a critical HVDC cable project from conception to commissioning. You will be responsible for coordinating tendering, awarding, and executing EPCI contracts, managing the production, logistics, and installation of energy cables, and ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and risk management. The role requires strong leadership to guide an interdisciplinary project team and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, while upholding quality, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project phases. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering)
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Project Management, ideally in the infrastructure or energy sector
- Experience with tendering, awarding, and processing complex technical projects (EPCI contracts)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel (approx. 2-3 times per month)
