Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT support and troubleshooting for the City of Bochum's IT infrastructure, specifically within the FLS Back-office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the initial analysis and resolution of IT issues, creating and classifying trouble tickets using Matrix42 ServiceDesk, and ensuring timely processing or escalation of service requests according to defined SLAs. A key part of the job is offering remote and on-site IT support and consultation to users, alongside meticulous documentation of work processes and results. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused, collaborative approach to problem-solving. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an IT Technician or comparable qualification, ideally a completed qualification as a Specialist in Information Technology (Fachinformatiker)

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in telephone support (desirable)
  • Experience with ticket systems (desirable)
