This role involves executing critical thermal vacuum (TVAC) and calibration & characterization (C&C) test campaigns, often in shifts, for aerospace projects. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving test procedures, meticulously assessing results, and analyzing events to identify root causes and pragmatic solutions under time pressure. Collaboration with project teams is essential to devise optimal test strategies concerning quality, time, and cost. Additionally, the role includes participating in non-conformance investigations while adhering to strict company quality standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Embedded Systems, or comparable qualification
Experience
- More than two years of professional experience in engineering and aerospace
- Experience with space standards (ECSS) and testing (plus)
- Experience working with central checkout systems including SCOS2k databases and CCSDS/Packet Utilization Standard (plus)
- Telecommands and telemetry management (plus)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in shifts over several months
