Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing electrical systems for Airbus Defence and Space. Your daily tasks will involve creating circuit diagrams, cable drawings, and bills of material, as well as supporting the definition of electrical subsystem interfaces. You will be responsible for design construction using electrical system documentation, preparing test and trial specifications with ECAD tools like EPLAN, and conducting system and integration tests. This role also includes technical support for subcontractors, assisting with subsystem installation and commissioning, and ensuring electrical safety by applying relevant standards. You will contribute to the creation and evaluation of test specifications and procedures, perform calculations for cable cross-sections and fusing, and refine designs into production-ready drawings.
