Job Summary

This role is for a motivated Customer Support Engineer to join the team supporting Airbus Secure Land Communications. The primary responsibilities include the setup, installation, and maintenance of virtual and physical Linux servers, alongside providing 2nd level support for RedHat Enterprise Linux and CentOS systems. The successful candidate will also be involved in complex incident and problem management, operational release management, and configuration management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned client, Airbus, in a dynamic environment, providing comprehensive support and contributing to critical communication systems.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification; or completed vocational training

Experience

  • Professional experience as an IT Specialist, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or IT Systems Salesperson
  • Experience with HP HP-Synergy, HP Blade Center, HP Proliant, and HP 3PAR-Storage
  • Experience in server environments (RedHat Enterprise Linux and CentOS)
