Job Summary

This role involves supporting the research technology department at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) in the development and commissioning of cutting-edge research equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical project planning and design of scientific systems using EPLAN, preparing and overseeing the assembly and commissioning of control cabinets and prototypes, and managing technical specifications for external tenders in plant construction. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational/technical training with further qualification as a state-certified technician in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable field

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in at least one or preferably several of the mentioned task areas
  • Experience with EPLAN planning software for standard-compliant creation and revision of circuit diagrams
  • Practical skills in the planning and operational processing of projects
  • Detailed knowledge of normative frameworks for planning and testing of machines and systems
  • Ability to process multiple tasks reliably and independently
