This role involves developing cutting-edge signal processing methods for coherent and spatially distributed radar systems, focusing on optimizing computational and memory efficiency. The successful candidate will also be instrumental in designing innovative automotive radar concepts, collaborating closely with leading automotive manufacturers. A key part of the role includes optimizing radar antenna positioning in sparsely occupied coherent radar systems and validating these concepts through simulations. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics, coupled with initial experience in radar technology, autonomous driving, and signal processing. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable qualification with a specialization in Signal Processing

Experience

  • Initial experience in radar technology, autonomous driving, and signal processing
  • Professional programming experience with Python and/or MATLAB
  • Experience in developing graphical user interfaces (advantageous)
  • Experience applying solutions to complex optimization problems (desirable)
  • Project-based teamwork and proactive independent work
