Job Summary
This leadership role involves overseeing the Medical Technology Department at Hannover Medical School, a large university hospital. The successful candidate will manage a team of 30 employees, focusing on their continuous development and the department's organizational and technical advancement. Key responsibilities include independently managing medical technology projects, supporting construction projects, and acting as a crucial interface between technical operations, construction management, users, and authorities. The role demands ensuring compliance with operator obligations, medical technology standards, and quality assurance, alongside robust financial management including budget creation, cost tracking, and optimization. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
Experience
- Several years of experience in a comparable position with personnel responsibility for a larger team
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, DIN standards, and other regulations (e.g., Medical Devices Act, Workplace Ordinance)
- Knowledge of hygienic concerns and regulations in the hospital sector
