Job Summary
This role involves shaping and implementing educational policies focused on sustainable development, global learning, consumer education, and mobility education within Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's school system. The successful candidate will develop comprehensive concepts for integrating sustainable development into schools, represent the Ministry in relevant committees, and provide expert advice and support to schools on implementing the "Whole School Approach." Key responsibilities also include planning and delivering teacher training, developing educational materials, and leading working groups. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Public Administration, Law, Environmental Education, Political Science, Geography, Educational Sciences, Social Sciences, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in lecturing and moderation activities
- Experience with consulting situations, preferably in the school sector
- Experience in networking
- Experience in cooperation with various institutions and non-school organizations in the BNE sector and relevant support structures in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
- Knowledge of democracy education in schools
- Knowledge of measures for mobility education and traffic safety education in schools
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Education for Sustainable Development approach and the UNESCO program "ESD 2030"
- Pedagogical experience in school or adult education (desirable)
- Administrative experience in a state authority and knowledge of grant law (desirable)
