Job Summary

As an IT System Engineer, you will be a key contributor to one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers, driving digitalization within the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. Your daily responsibilities will involve managing network and system administration in a virtualized server environment, focusing on VMware and Hyper-V. You will lead the conceptualization, introduction, and optimization of new and existing applications and processes, primarily within Microsoft client and server systems, with potential for Linux involvement. This role requires active participation in various IT projects, ensuring the smooth operation of development and test infrastructures, particularly Windows server and client applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in current Windows operating systems, client-server technologies, and virtualization, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
