Job Summary

This Senior Backend Developer role involves designing and developing sophisticated web applications and interfaces, as well as maintaining existing web service-oriented core applications. You'll collaborate with the DevOps team to manage and evolve technical infrastructure, analyze new requirements with business analysts and clients, and provide expert third-level support. The position requires self-organized, agile work within sprints, focusing on project goals and efficient database architecture. You'll also drive projects on the internal tech roadmap and maintain development documentation. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in PHP backend development, strong skills in MySQL, SOAP Webservices, JSON-APIs, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization. Experience with automated testing, code reviews, and PHP frameworks is also essential, along with excellent analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.
