Job Summary

This Senior Backend Developer role involves designing and developing sophisticated web applications and interfaces, alongside maintaining existing webservice-oriented core applications. A significant part of the job includes collaborating with the DevOps team to manage and advance the technical infrastructure, and working closely with business analysts and clients to analyze new requirements, provide planning support, and serve as a third-level support contact. The ideal candidate will take ownership of projects within the internal tech roadmap, manage tasks autonomously within agile sprints, and ensure high standards of code quality through automated testing and code reviews. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, extensive experience (at least five years) in PHP backend development, proficiency with MySQL, SOAP Web services, and JSON-APIs, and strong DevOps skills encompassing CI/CD, networking, security, and containerization.
