Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineer or Building Automation Engineer to join the Cologne branch of the Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen (BLB NRW), a major real estate portfolio manager in Europe. The successful candidate will work in interdisciplinary project teams, supporting both building maintenance and large-scale construction projects. Key responsibilities include assisting with the selection and contract processing of freelance services, managing and quality-checking external engineering firms, handling planning services according to HOAI, and overseeing the procurement, control, and billing of construction services. This position offers the chance to contribute to the development of highly modern, unique projects within NRW, focusing on creating a climate-neutral real estate portfolio for the state.
