Join a highly motivated team as an Automation and Control Systems Engineer, playing a crucial role in the successful execution of modernization projects for steam turbines, gas and steam power plants, and phase shifters. This position involves managing all project phases, from supporting bid managers to project handover, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and quality. You will develop control system concepts, create project-specific software solutions for turbine protection and control, and coordinate internal and external partners globally. This role offers the chance to modernize existing facilities with cutting-edge technology, integrate innovative functions, and contribute significantly to shaping the path towards a sustainable energy transition.
Required Skills
Education
Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable role (desirable)
- Good knowledge in general electrical engineering, power engineering, and ideally in power plant operations
- Knowledge in process automation and/or electrical engineering in turbine control systems
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel worldwide (up to approx. 30%)
