Job Summary
As a (Junior) Specialist Engineer for Railway Power Lines at DB Energie GmbH, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing projects related to railway power infrastructure. Your daily tasks will involve guiding construction law processes, ensuring high-quality and professional reconstruction of facilities, and assisting in the resolution of third-party damages. You will also be responsible for verifying operator and construction files post-handover and managing performance billing and agreements with crossing partners. This role offers the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities within the North Railway Power Line department, involves outdoor work, and requires participation in rotating on-call duties after comprehensive training. This position is ideal for an electrical engineering professional looking to contribute to critical infrastructure development and maintenance.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
Experience
- Experience in project management or project control is beneficial
- Willingness to acquire qualification as a Construction Authorization Holder and Commissioning Manager
- Willingness to acquire qualification as a Qualified Electrician
Languages
Additional
- Class B driving license with willingness to travel in Northern Germany; Medical fitness (including suitability for heights) to be checked by company doctor; Willingness to work outdoors; Willingness to participate in rotating on-call duty after training.
