Job Summary
This role involves spearheading the implementation and ongoing support of the Document Management System (DMS) within the Menden (Sauerland) city administration. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and testing digital workflows, coordinating DMS initiatives with various departments and external providers, and providing essential user training and support. A key focus will be on analyzing and optimizing administrative processes to identify digitalization potential, particularly within DMS workflows. This position is ideal for someone passionate about digitalization and modern IT, possessing strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and a proactive, independent work ethic.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration/Administrative Business Administration OR Bachelor of Laws in Public Administration/General Administration OR Diploma in Public Administration (FH) OR Completed vocational training as a Public Administration Clerk with successful completion of the First Employee Examination (AL/VL I) AND completion of Administrative Course II OR University degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master) in (Administrative) Informatics or E-Government.
Experience
- Professional experience in project planning and execution (desirable)
- Professional experience with Document Management Systems (DMS) (desirable)
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a municipal administration (required for certain educational backgrounds)

- Part-time employment (half of regular working hours). Flexibility regarding working hours.
