Job Summary

The SMD Technologist will play a crucial role in optimizing and validating manufacturing processes for electronic components, specifically focusing on Surface Mount Device (SMD) and Through-Hole Technology (THT) assembly. This involves defining process parameters for various soldering techniques (reflow, selective, wave soldering), managing solder pastes and stencils, and preparing and assembling components. A key responsibility is programming and optimizing SMD placement machines (e.g., Fuji, Mimot) and providing training to machine operators. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering or related fields, strong technical affinity, and experience with production systems, quality standards, and continuous improvement processes.
